Liner service

Liner service has been the backbone of our business since the start. This service enables the transport of small quantities of goods in a competitive and environmentally friendly manner. Ahlmark Lines offers liner service from Lake Vänern and the Swedish north coast to a number of ports in the UK.

From Vänern we depart three to four times monthly to Hull and every fourth week to Montrose.

From the North coast we offer departures every other week to Hull.

Ahlmark Lines has many years of experience transporting both forest products and biofuels as well as raw materials such as steel and lime to industries.

Terminal services

At King George Dock in the Port of Hull in England, we operate our own port terminal from our subsidiary Ahlmark Shipping UK Ltd. A full-service, high-capacity facility that handles over 300,000 tonnes/cubic equivalents of goods every year.

The Hull terminal, strategically located in King George Dock along the Humber Estuary in central England, serves our own and other vessels with agency, customs clearance, stevedoring and storage.

The dock has the capacity to receive vessels up to 197 m long, 25.5 m wide and 10.4 m deep. The terminal offers cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 30 tonnes. We also have over 30,000 m2 of covered storage space directly adjacent to the dock.
